For this week’s Saturday Morning Cartoons entry, we’re jumping back in time a couple of years from last week’s post. On a whim last night, I decided to watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Well, perhaps it wasn’t so whim-ish; I saw this post yesterday on grammatically-incorrect movie titles, and it reminded me that I’ve been…
For Christmas, a friend of mine scored a copy of the new Wii game Epic Mickey. If you haven’t heard of this game, it’s an attempt to turn Disney’s signature character into a bad-ass of the umpteenth degree while reacquainting folks with some former Disney animation stars like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Merry Christmas! I hope you were very good this year so that Santa brought you what you wanted. Here are a few Christmas treats from Saturday Morning Cartoons to get you through the day: Because it’s not Christmas without the Grinch, here’s the complete How the Grinch Stole Christmas as told by Boris Karloff:…

This 1952 Disney short, “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” always makes me giggle. Gotta love a pair of smart-assed chipmunks.
Just a quick heads-up: You may have noticed that we did not post an entry for Saturday Morning Cartoons this week. What with the craziness surrounding the holidays and work schedules, we’re scaling back regular contributions to SMC until the new year. Nikki will post an entry on Lady and the Tramp this weekend, and…
